Simon Says Stamp Big Joy and Holiday Poinsettia - 3 Card Styles - 3 Techniques

Hey folks!

I really debated sharing these cards. I mean, Christmas is over peeps! Seriously, Christmas may be over, but I really feel these are great products and while Elvis has left the building this year they may be something for you to keep in mind for next year. Aaaand some of them are good to go ALL YEAR!

I made a TON of cards for Christmas. So many that there are more than a few that I won't have the chance to post. I'm sharing 4 different cards with you today.

For my first two cards, I used the Dies from the Big Joy Die Set by Simon Says Stamp. I die cut six layers out of each die, but placed one layer back into the negative space on the original Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Cardstock Panel I had cut from.

With Ranger - Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink, I stamped the Snowflakes from the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Circle Saying Stamp Set and carefully went over the Images with a Blue Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencil. I only blended the color out enough to cover the Antique Linen Ink.

I stacked all the Die Cuts together on each card and put it back into the negative spaces on each Card.

The Sentiments are from the Big Add Ons by Simon Says Stamp and I heat embossed those with Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp Silver Embossing Powder on Simon Says Stamp Soft Navy Cardstock.

To finish these guys off, I added some Sparkly Gel Pen dots. I have no idea the brand, my Daughter left it on my table so it was free game.

I started this guy by stamping the Big Joy from the Big Joy Stamp Set on some Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper. I wanted to leave the negative space intact so I cut a slit at the bottom one the letters and carefully cut out all of the letters all in one cut.

Then I stamped the Big Joy Stamps again on Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink and placed my Negative Mask over the top.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Lattice Grid Background Stamp to stamp in the positive space, then colored in the shapes with Wink of Stella in Red, Dark Green, Gold and Clear.

To finish it off, I heat embossed Schoolhouse Red Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder and added some Little Things by Lucy's Cards from the Muted Metallic Shaker Mix.

Last, but certainly not least, I Die Cut Neenah White Cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Poinsettia Die and colored them both in with Copic Markers. My color choice are in the Thumbnail Links below.

I added them to a Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain Embossed Cardstock Panel and tucked in some Stitched Tags from the Bundle of Stitched Shapes Die Set.

The Sentiments are from the Simon Says Stamp Gifts of Love Stamp Set and embossed with Gold and Silver Embossing Powder. To finish them off I added, DMC Gold and Silver Embroidery Thread.

That's it peeps! Up next, I will most likely have one last Winter/Christmas set to share. My first Design Team post for Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog goes live Monday, January 4th! In the meantime be sure to go check out to check out all the crafty goodness going on now!

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a super easy and super fast one layered card with you all!

It's no secret that I love to mask and build up the images on a card. However, sometimes it's great to skip the masking and get the same effect. That's what I've done on my card today folks.

I'm a sucker for butterflies and if you make them rainbow and I will clap my hands like a demented seal. For real. So today I used the Butterflies Stamp Set by Avery Elle and did some basic Copic Coloring (color choices in thumbnail links below) in a rainbow color scheme.

On Neenah White Cardstock, I stamped my images in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink with my MISTI Stamping Tool. You don't need a MISTI, but I'm a manic and it's almost impossible for me to line up my stamps again with a…

The stamp set I used today is Ah-mazing! It's the Hello Lovely Stamp Set by Concord & 9th and I'm tellin ya folks, if you're looking for something that has a whole lotta wow factor AND is easy, this is your stamp set.

Using my MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped my Neenah White Cardstock Panel with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

There are some really groovy stamps in the set if you wanted to just ink them up and stamp them within the outline image, but I LOVED the idea of coloring this bad boy in.
