Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit - Here's Looking At You

Hey folks!

I thought that since today was October 1st, it would be a great day to share a card I made using the Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit! I'm not getting paid to think today folks, so hang in there with me.....

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I love Simon Says Stamp Card Kits. I really do. Even if I don't use everything in them they are so fabulous. Can't beat that. This month is called "Here's Looking At You". If I could get my husband to stop saying "No, no here's looking at you." while he winks at me, that would be great!

Anyway, I really didn't have a plan here. I just kind of picked my favorite shapes out of the I See You Stamp Set that's in the kit and started stamping.

I started by stamping the Chevron Stripe Stamp with my MISTI Stamping Tool with Versafine Black Onyx Ink on Neenah White Cardstock. I then heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder. Next, I stamped the Heart over the top of the Stripe with Versamark Ink and Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder. I cut the Panel down with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die as well.

The Glasses were stamped on a scrap of Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red Ink and then I went over it again with Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder. I used the same Lipstick Red Ink to make my own colored cardstock to go behind the Front Panel. I also added some Clear Wink of Stella to the lenses and fussy cut them out. After I put them on the card with Scotch Foam Tape, I added some Ranger Glossy Accents

I stamped the Sentiment on a scrap of Simons Says Stamp Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. The Sentiment under that was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink.

Since there was a lot of shine going on, I went with some Muted Metallics out of the Muted Metallics Shaker Mix by Lucy's Cards for embellies. They matched the Princess Gold Embossing Powder perfectly!

That's it peeps! Up next will be Booyah by Lawn Fawn after that will be the Boo Boxes! Woot! In the meantime I hope you enjoyed my card today...

Until next time!
