Simon Says Stamp November 2015 Card Kit - Apple of My Pie

Hey folks!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable one. We sure did!

I'm back to share another card with you all. It's not a Halloween card. I posted my last one for the year a couple of days ago. I gotta be honest, I'm feelin kinda Halloween'd out. So, onward and upward!

I really really love the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit every month. The Handmade With Love Kit is no exception. I am over the moon for the Apple of My Pie Stamp Set in this month's kit. The pie makes me soo happy! LOVE me some pie!

I started by stamping the Apple and Pie from the Stamp Set on Neenah White Cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them in with Copic's. You can see the links below for my color choices.

I can't bake pie in real life to save my life peeps. They will turn out awful every time. I can turn a cake into spaghetti and meatballs. I can make cupcakes in to T.V. dinners, but I CANNOT bake a pie. So. It was no wonder the first time I colored the Pie, it looked like I burned it. Sheesh.

Since I burned the Pie, I stamped the Apple Slice and the Pie again and the attached them to the card with Best Creations 3D Foam Tape, after I masked off the Images and with a Ranger Ink Blending Tool added a little bit of Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Ink.

I stamped the Ribbon Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Duckling Ink and the Sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink and trimmed it out leaving a border. The Panel and Patterned Paper were die cut with the Curved Dies from the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Slopes and Hill Die Set. I used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Side Fold Card from the Kit for my Card Base.

To finish it off I added a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella and a couple of Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow Sequins.

Wanna save $10 at Simon Says Stamp? Until November 2nd (until 11:59 p.m. EST) you can, if you spend $75 or more using code TREAT at checkout! See full site for details!

That's it peeps! I have a few cards in the works, so I'm not sure what will be up next...

In the meantime, I hope you've enjoyed my cards today! Don't forget you can follow me on Instagram  and on Facebook! I would love to see you there.

Until next time!

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a super easy and super fast one layered card with you all!

It's no secret that I love to mask and build up the images on a card. However, sometimes it's great to skip the masking and get the same effect. That's what I've done on my card today folks.

I'm a sucker for butterflies and if you make them rainbow and I will clap my hands like a demented seal. For real. So today I used the Butterflies Stamp Set by Avery Elle and did some basic Copic Coloring (color choices in thumbnail links below) in a rainbow color scheme.

On Neenah White Cardstock, I stamped my images in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink with my MISTI Stamping Tool. You don't need a MISTI, but I'm a manic and it's almost impossible for me to line up my stamps again with a…

The stamp set I used today is Ah-mazing! It's the Hello Lovely Stamp Set by Concord & 9th and I'm tellin ya folks, if you're looking for something that has a whole lotta wow factor AND is easy, this is your stamp set.

Using my MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped my Neenah White Cardstock Panel with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

There are some really groovy stamps in the set if you wanted to just ink them up and stamp them within the outline image, but I LOVED the idea of coloring this bad boy in.

Hey folks!

Happy-ish Monday! I don't know what in the halibut it is peeps, but every time I think I'm going to do something different. Break out some mediums I've haven't used in a while. Do something other than flowers, it's abracadabra I have myself a card panel with lots of pretty masked flowers that must be colored in with Copic's. Oy. So, stop me if you've heard this one! I'm back today to share a card with lots of pretty masked flowers, that I had to Copic color.
