Wplus9 Backgrounds & Borders Zig Clean Color Watercoloring

Hey folks!

Today I'm sharing some rainbow fun! We've had so much rain this last couple of weeks all I can think about are rainbows. I was starting to feel like a duck!

On rainy days, when I was a kid, I would hang out on the couch all day in my Strawberry Shortcake pajamas and color in my Transformer coloring books. This card made me think of that. Now I have a Mom Cave and I have a whole lot more to play with instead of Crayola's! That and I no longer where Strawberry Shortcake. Transformers are still the bomb though!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I will have thumbnail links for you at the end of the post!

I don't know how this happened, but I don't own a single full background stamp. Insert collective gasp here. What I do have is this fabulous stamp set by Wplus9! It's called Borders and Backgrounds 2. I took one of the stamps and stamped in on a piece of Ranger Watercolor Cardstock with Versamark and Ranger Clear Embossing Powder.

My plan was to color in random diamonds with my Zig Clean Color Real Brushes Pens, but once I started I couldn't help myself. I had to color it all in! Seriously, the more I use these, the more I love them. I wonder what my husband is going to think when my "spending freeze" is over and I buy more of them? Important life questions peeps.

I kept the sentiment pretty simple. I used two stamps from the Hand Lettered Hello Stamp Set by Wplus9 with Simon Says Stamp Slate Ink. The jury is still out for me on how I feel about the embellishments, but I'm a "stick to my guns" kinda girl so there you have it.

That's it! Pretty quick and simple. The upside to all of the rain (besides Mommy's color time) is our grass is super duper green. The downside (besides the duck issue) is it's really long! So time to go mow The Whitlow Jungle!

Until next time!

Making An Easy One Layered Card - Featuring Avery Elle and Copic Coloring

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a suer easy and super fast one layered card with you all!

It's no secret that I love to mask and build up the images on a card. However, sometimes it's great to skip the masking and get the same effect. That's what I've done on my card today folks.

I'm a sucker for butterflies and if you make them rainbow and I will clap my hands like a demented seal. For real. So today I used the Butterflies Stamp Set by Avery Elle and did some basic Copic Coloring (color choices in thumbnail links below) in a rainbow color scheme.

On Neenah White Cardstock, I stamped my images in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink with my MISTI Stamping Tool. You don't need a MISTI, but I'm a manic and it's almost impossible for me to line up my stamps again with a …

The stamp set I used today is Ah-mazing! It's the Hello Lovely Stamp Set by Concord & 9th and I'm tellin ya folks, if you're looking for something that has a whole lotta wow factor AND is easy, this is your stamp set.

Using my MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped my Neenah White Cardstock Panel with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

There are some really groovy stamps in the set if you wanted to just ink them up and stamp them within the outline image, but I LOVED the idea of coloring this bad boy in.

Using Dies On A One Layer Card + Altenew Majestic Blooms

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share another card with you all! I've done loads of Copic coloring lately and today's card is no different, but I wanted to try some new (to me) as well.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I think Altenew has some of the most amazing flowers on the market. Their design and versatility is ah-mazing. The Majestic Blooms Stamp set by Altenew is actually a multi-layer set, but I climb on the struggle bus every time I attempt this kind of stamping, so I decided to stick with what I'm comfy with and simply use the outline of the flower and color it in with Copic's.

Since, I'm going to color this in with Copic's and I don't want them to bleed through the inside of my card I stamped the flower and leaves on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. This …
