Copic Coloring White with Altenew Engagement Wishes

Hey folks!

In today's video, I'm sharing the new Altenew Engagement Wishes Stamp Set and I'm taking about coloring images in white. The concept of coloring white is tricky for some folks, but it's actually one of the easiest techniques in coloring!

Don't forget folks you can always sign up for The Pink Envelope Patreon and get access to the full length, real time VIDEO!

You can watch the video on how I made my cards HEREYou can also click the thumbnail link below.

It doesn't matter what colors you use to color white. The concept is still the same. When coloring white, you are simply coloring in the shade or where your shadows would be within the image. The idea is to leave as much white space as possible while still reinforcing your shade areas.

For the Altenew ENGAGEMENT WISHES Stamp Set, this would be where the petals overlap each other, as well as where the petals bend and fold on themselves. Be sure to watch the VIDEO folks. I talk more about this there.

When I decided to color in this stamp, I knew I wanted it to be white. As I said, it doesn't matter what colors you use, however, I took my inspiration from the TULIPS AND RIBBONS Workshop from Vanilla Arts. I will have another video linked down below for another color option as well.

To compliment the background of the flower, I used Altenew Inks in LAGOON, VOLCANO LAKE and MOUNTAIN MIST. I use this combination a bunch folks. It' definitely one of my faves!

I stamped the images in Altenew LIMESTONE Ink and the sentiments in INDUSTRIAL DIAMOND, but if I were to do this card again, I would skip the sentiments. I'm not a huge fan of sentiments in general and I totally forced myself to do this this time. What d'ya do?

I did add some Sakura CLEAR Glaze to the stamen on  the flower and I splatter Ranger PERFECT PEARLS across the panels, but I skipped any extra embellies. That flower and leaves pop all by their lonesome so there was no need to add anything else!

That's it!
