One Layer Card with Pinkfresh Studio Fancy Blooms

Hey folks!

In today's video I'm sharing a new stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio designed by my girl Ruby from A Rare Ruby Crafts! The FANCY BLOOMS Stamp Set is her first ever illustration and I'm super proud of her. I'm using this lovely set on a one layer card with no line coloring!

You can watch the video on how I made my cards HEREYou can also click the thumbnail link below.

There are several large images and a few smaller images in the FANCY BLOOMS Stamp Set, I chose to just stick with the larger ones. You could totally build these up and create an amazing floral scene if you wanted though!

I did use my MISTI Stamping tool and Inkon3 FADEOUT Ink to stamp my card panel. You could use a stamp block if you would like, but my middle name isn't Grace so I like to rely on the MISTI

I would bet $10 that when Amy Shulke of VANILLA ARTS CO. saw this she knew exactly where I rode the struggle bus on this card. I talk about it in the VIDEO. If you didn't see it the first time, then bless your heart. I shall keep you in my pocket.

Seriously folks, everyone has their moments and no-one is perfect. Certainly not me. I won't be applying for saint hood in the near future! Especially if my coloring skills are a prerequisite. It's all good though. The important thing is you keep trucking.

I felt that this card didn't need much more after I was done coloring so I simply finished it off with some Nuvo AQAUA Shimmer and a little bit of Sakura CLEAR Glaze.

I did feel that it needed a sentiment (Look Ruby a sentiment!), so I used one from the Altenew DEAREST FRIEND Stamp Set. I stamped that using Hero Arts INTENSE Black in only because it was handy, but I do looooove this ink folks.

If you're interested in the full length, real time video you can see that over on my PATREON. There's lots of info, plus I have extras for my Patrons!

That's it!

  1. Wow Cyndi, you are an amazing colorist. This is stunning, even the flower you think you messed up looks gorgeous to me. Beautiful work.
