Scene Building Pt. 2 - Unforgettable Birthday

Hey folks!

I'm back today with the second video in my 3 part series focusing on masking and scene building.

Today's video is all about coloring in our scene. I'm not at all concerned with technique it's all about color choices and simply getting everything colored in. Easy peasy.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

The first thing I wanted to take in to consideration when choosing my colors, was what I felt was going to stand out the most. My eye immediately goes to those elephants every time, so Grey was my first choice. Then I thought about the cherries and the citrus slices, so red and orange were the next two colors on my list. Blue-Green goes amazing with all of those colors so that finished off my color choices.

Pinterest is a great place to scope out colors. I have a BOARD specifically dedicated to colors. It's a handy tool. A Color Wheel is also super handy. They can run small and inexpensive to larger and a wee bit more of an investment, but worth it either way.

I loved coming up with he different combination of colors for each theme on all of the cards. It would take me ages to link to all of the colors I used, so I just have the ones for the Unforgettable Birthday listed below.

Feel free to use any colors you want. The sky's the limit.

I hadn't decided what to do with my backgrounds before I started coloring, but that ok. Rome wasn't built in a day folks. Knew I'd figure it out when the time came.

Ha! Yesterday's post was crazy long and today's post is really short. This isn't a whole lot to say that I didn't say in the video. Be sure to watch it!

That's it!

As always, I hoped you enjoyed my cards today. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me. I will be back tomorrow with the 3rd and final video where I finish it all off!

Until next time!
