Winnie & Walter + Colored Pencils Over Copic's

Hey folks!

I just can't seem to get enough flowers lately. I feel as though you can't go wrong with them. Flowers are a guaranteed warm fuzzy.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I stamped my Flowers from the Anna's Flora Stamp Set by Winnie and Walter on Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

My plan was to color them in only with Copic's (you can see my color choice below), but I couldn't get them to blend and give me the detail I wanted (Copic version of a bad hair day?), so I broke out my Tombow Irojiten Color Dictionary Pencils and added what I wanted.

I used a Folded Card from the Sunshine Mix by Hero Arts for my Card Base. Before I mounted my Colored Panel, I used the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp with Hero Arts Butter Bar Ink to add some more interest to the front.

To finish this off, I cut a strip of Silhouette Vellum as well as a strip of Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock which I covered with some Black Wink of Stella.

That's it! Easy peasy. Well no, not really. Honestly this card was a struggle from the get go, but I like making it sound like it was easy!

Coming up on Monday, I will have this card featuring the Beautiful Day Stamp Set by Altenew (Look Ma more flowers!) on the Butterfly Reflection's Ink Blog. There lots of grooviness go on over there all weekend, so be sure to check it out In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time!
