Heart of Roses + Sneak Peak

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a card with you that believe it or not was inspired by a scrap of watercolored cardstock I had sitting out on my table. I took a cue from my kids and left my table a mess and while I was cleaning up a bit today, inspiration struck!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I shared a Card the other day (you can see that HERE) where I had colored some Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Ranger-Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I took what was left of that and trimmed it down to fit behind a Panel.

The Simon Says Stamp Heart of Roses Die is AH-Mazing and I loved the idea of it over that watercoloring. I cut out six layers of and glued them all together with Ranger Matte Multi Medium. The first layer was from the Panel that would go on the front of the card. I also used the Stitched Rectangle Die from the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes.

I used the word "LOVE" from the I Love You Die Set and die cut a scrap of Schoolhouse Red Cardstock (Also used for the Card Base) by Simon Says Stamp. I mask of a Stamp from the Roses For You Stamp Set and stamp "YOU" with Slate Ink.

I finished it off with Clear Wink of Stella all over the Heart and a few Marshmallow Pretty Pink Posh Sequins.

That's it! Easy Peasy.

I will have this darling girl to share with you all Monday on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog. She's from the Steeped In Love Stamp Set by My Favorite Things. Aaaaand here on my blog I will also have a card (or maybe cards, who knows) featuring the Adorable Elephants Stamp Set also by MFT.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time!
