Simon Says Stamp Simon and Dexter Christmas

Hey folks!

I had planned to share an Avery Elle Card with you all today, but due to technical difficulties it will have to wait till next time.

I can't BUH-leive Christmas is next week! Who's ready? Not me. Christmas cards? Check. House all Christmas-y and pretty? Check. Presents done for all four kids? Nope. Awesome.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

A couple months back Simon Says Stamp introduced Simon's best friend Dexter. I created a couple of Cards from the first Dexter and Simon Stamp Set release which you can see here on my blog or on the Simon Says Stamp Blog here. I was beyond excited when they also released the Simon and Dexter Christmas Stamp Set!

Using my MISTI Stamping Tool and Masks I made with Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper, I stamped a Panel of Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Hero Arts Black Ink. I colored the entire panel with Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Inks. You can see my thumbnail links below for my color choices.

For fun, I used one of the Simon Says Stamp Large Tag Dies to die cut the Panel. I used some Fun Foam behind each of the Die Cuts to give them dimension, but for the Dexter Die Cut, I used 2mm and the Simon Die Cut, I used 3mm.

This guy was an accident. I had initially started stamping on the Die Cuts first, but the Simon Die Cut met an untimely demise and I didn't want this one to go to waste, so I colored this one in with the same Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Inks and made it in to a card.

I used a Sentiment out of the Stamp Set and stamped it repeatedly on a piece of Simon Says Stamp Surf Blue Cardstock with the matching Surf Blue Ink and trimmed down the Panel with the Stiched Rectangle Die from the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes Set.

Using the Painted Hello Die by Simon Says Stamp, I die cut a piece of Glitter Fun Foam.

To finish them off, I used Clear Wink of StellaMarshmallow Pretty Pink Posh SequinsMay Arts Twine and some ribbon from my stash.

That's it for now peeps! I hope you enjoyed my Cards today!

Until next time!
