Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit and Fall Copic Sale!

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a fairly quick card with you all. I gotta be honest, I'm not over the moon for it and I really struggled to get it together. However, I feel it's always good to share everything and besides I am over the moon for the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit.

Whenever I have a hard time putting a card together, my kids call them "Squirrel Cards". I go in 50 different directions and I'm always calling one of my kids into my room to ask their opinion and then I usually change my mind after I've just agreed with them. I usually get the eye roll and head toss and they holler "Squirrel!" at me as they walk out of the room. Driving my kids crazy is in my job description, so it's cool.

I started by stamping the Heart Stamp from the I See You Stamp Set on a scrap of Neenah White Cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored the hearts in with Red Copic's (see links below for colors) and fussy cut them out.

For the Front Panel, I stamped the Chevron Stripe with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink, then mixed water, Ranger Perfect Pearl in Perfect Pearl and Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Black Soot and splattered on to the Panel with a paint brush. I die cut the Panel with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die.

I used the Painted Hello Die and die cut a piece of DCWV Gold Foil Cardstock. Using Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder, I heat embossed 2 of the sentiments from the Set on a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock and fussy cut them out.

For embellies, I made my own enamel dots using Ranger Enamel Accents. Once they were dry, I put them on a piece of Post-It Tape so I could hold them, then "smooshed" them into my StazOn Gold Ink Pad.

That's it peeps! Up next will either be Avery Elle Twisted Treats or the Winnie & Walter STAMPtember Exclusive for Simon Says Stamp How We Roll. Also, Simon Says Stamp is having a Copic Autumn Coloring Sale! Woot! 25% off until October 14th. Use code FALLCOPIC. See site for details.

In the meantime, I hope you've enjoyed my cards today! Don't forget you can follow me on Instagram  and on Facebook! I would love to see you there.

Until next time!

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a suer easy and super fast one layered card with you all!

It's no secret that I love to mask and build up the images on a card. However, sometimes it's great to skip the masking and get the same effect. That's what I've done on my card today folks.

I'm a sucker for butterflies and if you make them rainbow and I will clap my hands like a demented seal. For real. So today I used the Butterflies Stamp Set by Avery Elle and did some basic Copic Coloring (color choices in thumbnail links below) in a rainbow color scheme.

On Neenah White Cardstock, I stamped my images in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink with my MISTI Stamping Tool. You don't need a MISTI, but I'm a manic and it's almost impossible for me to line up my stamps again with a …

The stamp set I used today is Ah-mazing! It's the Hello Lovely Stamp Set by Concord & 9th and I'm tellin ya folks, if you're looking for something that has a whole lotta wow factor AND is easy, this is your stamp set.

Using my MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped my Neenah White Cardstock Panel with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

There are some really groovy stamps in the set if you wanted to just ink them up and stamp them within the outline image, but I LOVED the idea of coloring this bad boy in.

Using Dies On A One Layer Card + Altenew Majestic Blooms

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share another card with you all! I've done loads of Copic coloring lately and today's card is no different, but I wanted to try some new (to me) as well.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I think Altenew has some of the most amazing flowers on the market. Their design and versatility is ah-mazing. The Majestic Blooms Stamp set by Altenew is actually a multi-layer set, but I climb on the struggle bus every time I attempt this kind of stamping, so I decided to stick with what I'm comfy with and simply use the outline of the flower and color it in with Copic's.

Since, I'm going to color this in with Copic's and I don't want them to bleed through the inside of my card I stamped the flower and leaves on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. This …
