Video - Simple Masking Featuring Avery Elle

Hey folks!

It feels like it's been ages since I've posted anything! I've had tons to do, BUT I did share a few projects on the Newton's Nook Blog aaaand the Wplus9 Blog so that was really groovy.

So, I'm back today to share another card and another video with you all. The idea behind today's card was to just enjoy the process. I honestly didn't put too much thought in to any of it outside of coming up with a plan on how I wanted to stamp it. It's been a long time since I've done that and I wanted to share that with you guys!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

You can see the video by clicking HERE or by clicking on the image below.

I started by stamping and cutting masks out of 3M Full Stick Post-It Notes. I love these! I can stamp the images once and then pull off several sheets to cut them all out at once.

The stamps I used today are Avery Elle Floral Bouquet, Avery Elle Butterflies, Avery Elle Viking and Avery Elle Carousel. I can't help myself folks, I choose a particular company and I HAVE to only use that company, but I sure do love using lots of sets within that company. Weird? Probably. What d'ya do?

I used my MISTI Stamping Tool and My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink to stamp all of my images on Neenah White Cardstock.

I decided to pull out a Copic color family I don't use very often and went with blue for all of my flowers. You can see the thumbnail links below for the specific colors I used.

I'm not sure I like all of the colors I chose today peeps, but the point behind today's card was to just roll with it, so that's what I did!

To finish off my card, I went with several of my go-to's and added Sakura Glaze Pens in Clear, Black and White. I also used a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll Pen and some Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen because all cards need all the sparkle!

That's it! Easy Peasy.

Oh and before I forget. I recently change the theme of my blog our to some technical difficulties in the last theme. I'm not in love folks, but I hope it will do for now. If you have any questions, comments or concerns on it, let me know!

As always thanks so much for stopping by to see me! I do hope you enjoy my card and the video!!

Until next time!
