Wplus9 Modern Flowers + Stamping Images Into A Heart

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share with you probably the most ambitious card I've ever made. I made this by request. I gave her the options for three stamp sets and she said all three, in the shape of a heart, in these colors. Mmmkay...let's see how this turns out.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

So when I say ambitious, I don't mean hard peeps. What I mean is, there is A LOT of masking and A LOT of coloring. If you have the patience to cut out masks and if you like to just sit and color, it's actually pretty easy.

It's not very often that I get to use this many stamps sets on a single card, so this was a lil bit of a treat for me! I used Modern Anemones, Modern Peonies and Modern Petunias from Wplus9. I love, love, love these sets!

I trimmed down a Neenah White Cardstock Panel to 6"x6"then using the second largest heart in the Simon Says Stamp Nested Heart Die Set, I lightly traced around the outside with a pencil.

Okay, here's the deal with the masks guys, I stamped several masks of each image on Inkadinkdo Stamp Masking Paper. I did this because I wanted to be able to lay them all out in my shape BEFORE I started stamping.

You could probably just lay out your stamps, see if it works, stamp, mask and repeat. However, I absolutely did NOT want to mess this up so I laid out all the masks where I wanted them, then took a picture with my phone. I also used my MISTI Stamping Tool, because the MISTI is a great way to save your bacon folks.

Any Copic friendly ink would work, but for my card today, I used My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. If you are interested in any or all of these colors you can see them in the thumbnail links below.

After all of my coloring was done, I used a T-Ruler to draw the lines with a Copic Multiliner. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to only the highlights in the flowers and a White Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in the center of the flowers.

I didn't add any embellies because let's be honest boys and squirrels, this card is busy e-nough.

That's it!

As always, I sure hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks so much for stopping by to see me!

Until next time!
