Lawn Fawn and Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor

Hey folks!

I'm back to share a super duper easy and fun card today.

I was going to share another card I made using the Peonies Stamp by Avery Elle (check these out), but I've got ants! I've had the Lawn Fawn Happy Summer Stamp Set sitting out on my table for awhile, I just haven't had a plan for it. I just loove it.

I never ever have the need to make a summer card, so I jumped on the chance to make a Summer themed birthday card.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I will have thumbnail links at the end of the post!

I haven't used my Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Inks in awhile. In fact, I haven't used the May release of Twisted Citron! How did I go this long and not use THAT gorgeous color? I don't even know.

So, I stamped the Ants and the Watermelon with Hero Arts Black Dye Ink with my MISTI Stamping Tool and stamped them again in Versamark and Ranger Clear Embossing Powder on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I did the same with the Candle which is from Birthday Bash by Newton's Nook.

I colored the the Watermelon and Candle with a Zig Watercolor Brush using Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Peeled PaintMowed Lawn, Wild Honey and Dusty Concord. For the background, I used a larger watercolor brush that I took (borrowed) from my daughter's stash (mine grew legs and walked off apparently) and kept the background loose. Oh man, I could just look at these colors all day. They are so happy and summery. Fantabulous! I must say Simon Says Stamp Cardstock in Doll Pink matches Picked Raspberry perfectly and their line of cardstocks are becoming my go to's for sure.

So that's it peeps!

Until next time!
